Shark Entwicklerframework für P2P System / iSphere - mobiles dezentrales social network
Im BMBF Projekt wurde die Plattform Shark entwickelt. Sie zeigt, dass Web 2.0 Anwendungen ohne das WWW möglich sind. Isphere ist eine Shark basierte Social Network Anwendung. Sie läuft auf Android, Java und J2ME. Es gibt keinen Server. Alle Geräte halten ihre Daten selber und tauschen sie direkt aus. Genutzt wird Bluetooth oder das mobile Internet.
Shark nutzt ein semantisches Datenmodell: Mehrsprachigkeit und Mehrdeutigkeiten werden damit aufgelöst. Kein Server bedeutet auch mehr Sicherheit der persönlichen Daten. Anwender können gezielt steuern, wer welche Daten oder Interessen sehen kann. Ortsbasierte Dienste, interessenbasierte Werbung und Filesharing geht serverfrei. Mobile Netze, Semantic Web und P2P sind gemeinsam das mobile Web 3.0.

In the BMBF project the platform Shark has been developed. It shows that Web 2.0 applications are possible without using the WWW. Isphere is a Shark based social network application which runs on Android, Java and J2ME. There is no server. All devices maintain their own data and share them directly. Bluetooth or the mobile internet is used. Shark uses a semantic data model: multilingualism and disambiguation of words is provided that way. Omitting a server also means more security for personal data. Users can directly control who receives which data or interests. Location-based services, interest-based advertising and file sharing work server-free. Mobile networks, semantic web and P2P together are the mobile Web 3.0.
