Maerker.Brandenburg.de ist eine gemeinsame Lösung von Land und Kommunen. Bürger, deren Kommunalverwaltung sich an „Maerker“ beteiligt, können diese per Internet auf Infrastrukturprobleme in ihrem Ort hinweisen: Die defekte Straßenlaterne, das Loch im Fußweg oder die wilde Müllkippe im Wäldchen.

Maerker erfasst den Hinweis und leitet ihn an die Verwaltung weiter. Die Kommune kümmert sich um das gemeldete Problem und informiert auf Maerker über den Sachstand. Maerker fördert den Dialog zwischen Bürgerschaft und Verwaltung. Die Zufriedenheit mit der Arbeit der Verwaltung nimmt zu.

Die Kommune wird schnell und zielgerichtet über Missstände informiert und kann zügig reagieren.

Maerker.Brandenburg.de is a joint solution between the State of Brandenburg and participating municipalities. Citizens whose municipal governments are participating in "Maerker" can use this portal to notify their local authorities about infrastructure problems: a defective streetlight, a hole in the footpath, or illegal garbage disposal in the woods.

Maerker records the information and forwards it to the local government. The municipality takes care of the reported problem and posts updates on Maerker. Maerker promotes the dialog between citizens and local government.

Satisfaction with government work gets a boost, while the municipality is informed quickly and specifically of any problems and can respond quickly.
